Birthing Truth: A Collection Of Freebirth Stories

As I feel her head about to crown I continue to remind myself to breathe. Keep my mouth loose. I kiss my husband through some painful sensations as I remember reading through beautiful birth stories. It really helped to stay sensual. My moans were low and primal. Much like the moans we heard escape our lips earlier that morning. I hit my moment of doubt shortly after this, I tell him “I can’t do this”. He reassures me that I can and that we are almost there. The next wave I feel her head crowning.

I went to the living room and bounced on the ball and cried. I just didn't want to be pregnant anymore and yet I was scared of the pain of birth. I walked around the home and but too sore to do much from the chiropractor appointment from the day before. At 4:30 I woke up my husband and told him I already had 4 strong contractions about 5 minutes apart. They were the real deal but wasn't sure if it would last.

About 25 minutes later I started feeling her body descend, it is such an incredible feeling knowing you are almost there. After another contraction I started feeling the burning sensation and thought my clitoris was tearing and splitting upwards. I just screamed and yelled through the pain and made sure I didn’t push and she flew out of me! 

I scooped him up. The cord was wrapped twice around his neck. He was pink. I calmly unwound him and put him to my chest. He was quiet his eyes closed. Jarryd said call him in. I started talking to him, he opened one eye and started screaming we were elated to say the least. While checking him over we saw we had a boy, I felt I had known this all along.
